Identify your strengths and capitalize on them. One of the best ways to build self-confidence is to get clear on your strengths and find ways to integrate those strengths into what you do every day.

Identify your weaknesses and work on them. If there are weaknesses that are affecting your self-confidence, you have to make a plan to reduce or erase them.

Challenge yourself. Accomplishing things that you did not think possible can be a great way to enrich your self-confidence.

Embrace the unknown. When you take that weight off your shoulders and realize that sometimes the twists and turns have nothing to do with what you did or should have done, it is easier to feel confident.

Be thankful. By saluting what you do have, you can combat the feeling of being imperfect and disgruntled.

Stick to your principles. You need to examine your life to see whether you are in alignment with your core values.

Associate with positive people. When you are surrounded by negative people who constantly put you and your ideas down, your confidence is lowered.

Stop comparing yourself with others. If you play the comparison game, you will run into too many ‘antagonists’ you cannot defeat.
