RECAST

R = Rediscover yourself all over again to wake up and realize what a talented person you are. Rediscover people and situation around you so that you become aware and come alive to realities that surround you all the while.

E = Exert to learn and develop. Learning is a never-ending process. It really stops only at death. Continuous learning gives us an opportunity to grow and develop.

C = Compete only with yourself. While we blame our parents for comparing us with others, we also compare ourselves with others who have fared better than us and then invite depression by thinking. We try to be better today than what we were yesterday.

A = Appreciate others for all the good things that happen to you. It can be a word of thanks to the bus conductor after getting the ticket, the lift-man when we got off the lift, the watchman for opening the gate and many other simple and ordinary people for the little services that they render.

S = Stop complaining. There are enough people in this world who are ready to complain, grumble and fight at the slightest inconvenience. Instead of complaining, let us look for some simple but effective solutions.

T = Take time to organize. Organizing our time is an irritating task but, in the long run, it disciplines us and makes us both reliable and self-reliant.
