Abraham Lincoln’s Creed
I believe in God the Almighty, ruler of nations, our great, good and merciful Maker, our Father in heaven who notes the fall of a sparrow and the number of hair on our heads.
I recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proved by all history that nations and individuals are blessed to whom God is their Lord and who obeys his commandments.
I believe that the will of God is the best for man. Without God all human support is useless. With His assistance I cannot fail.
I have a solemn duty fixed by heaven to finish the work. I have been assigned to in my state of life (child, youth or adult).
I accept this responsibility towards God with love for all and malice towards none, with courage and the blessings of God.

Worshipping God is singing the praise of God. Prayer is a confession of one’s unworthiness and weakness. God has a thousand names, or rather, He is nameless. We may worship or pray to Him by whichever name that pleases us. Some call Him Rama, some Krishna, others call Him Rahim, and yet others call Him God.
