I Prayed (Spiritual nourishment)

 I prayed for peace,

God gave me a storm to set things right.

      I prayed for pleasant time,

God gave me problems to solve and grow.

      I prayed for prosperity, 

God gave me opportunities to unmine the hidden treasure.

      I prayed for wisdom,

God gave me the nature to explore her secrets.

      I prayed for wealth,

God gave me a fishing rod to pull out fishes and pearls.

      I prayed for courage,

God put me in the furnace to melt and mould.

      I prayed for confidence,

God set me at the war front to burn my diffidence to ashes.

      I prayed for comforts,

God gave inconveniences to unearth my hidden potentials.

      I prayed for power,

God gave me the unfortunate to serve and be satisfied.

      I prayed for laurels,

God gave me difficult times to crown me strong.

      I asked God “Why?”

He said, “Without obstacles, you would cripple.”
